That's the set list I have pieced together and as you can already see, it was absolutely amazing :D! Alright, my experience is limited but this must have been one of the best concerts ever - the set list was so fantastic - OMG, they played BH! And WCID with a very cool longer instrumental part towards the end! And they put the guitar riff back in RUN! And they played LUN! And the introduction of the band during INLYA is back! And Sharon and Caroline sang NF! And they chose HTTW as second encore! And the opener was HUM! They were in a good mood, a bit nervous maybe because this was the first concert of the tour - and accordingly, they messed up (Jim played WCID while everybody else was playing FNF, Andrea missed a beat in GB and skipped the last chorus in a song).
I saw most of Jim (at least in the beginning), who was wearing his cool yellow sun glasses and an apricot coloured shirt. Andrea wore a green sleeveless top with matching belt and her beloved purple skirt, of course no shoes (maybe she should start thinking about wearing stilts because it's just not a good idea to kneel down on the floor when you're only 1,55m to start with). Sharon had time to have her hair done because she was back in blonde, and she looked so good in her black dress with transparent straps and bright red and pink flowers. I can't really say what Caroline wore because mostly she was hidden behind her percussion instruments (the poor thing is a bit superfluous sometimes when all she has to do is flip a finger), but I think it was a black blouse to hide most of her ever growing belly, combined with a rather huge necklace - and she looked cool, too.
I can't believe they played so many good songs - all my favourites from TOC (I was especially glad to hear WCID again), a lot from BH (around 7 of the 12 on the album - and though I never thought I'd hear it, BH - fantastically spiced up with more drums at the end and not lacking LBM at all), only one (!) song from IB (namely B and they couldn't do without it because it was their biggest hit), the classics from FNF and loads of instrumentals (LUN, yay!). The audience was enthusiastic, cheering and clapping all the time, the band was visibly glad to be back and in great shape, the new songs blended in perfectly and even the weather played along - it became a bit chilly towards the end but the sun was shining till way after 9:30PM, while the downpour and gushes of wind earlier at the station had me feared the worst.
I've been on the train for 6 hours, hurried to the youth hostel and then back to town to make it to the venue before admission at 5PM. I was there at 4:30PM and already the queue was 300m long - but you could hear the sound check :)! I waited there another hour until they opened the gate - and because they didn't put up fences, everyone near the gate started to rush in - which was very unfair because the queue kept sideling all over the square and those who had waited the longest and stood the furthest away were very much disadvantaged X-(. I made it in in the middle after another 30 minutes pressed against people's backs, found a good place to stand with not too many tall men in front of me and waited another 45 minutes till the support act came on stage. No one knows what they were called and the sound system was way too loud, so everybody clapped when they left stage after 40 minutes again. Then the roadies started to work on the stage, and finally, at 8PM, the Corrs entered the stage just one by one (unlike the LES and OWIS intro from before).
After three songs, Andrea made her little intro and actually said in German "It's nice to be", forgetting the "here", but she'll be forgiven, anytime ;p. During the concert, Andrea grabbed a bouquet of flowers somebody held out for her and danced around a little with it :). When Caroline was walking back behind her percussion instruments, somebody threw something on stage I couldn't really see and Caroline was confused about as well, because she held it up with a shrug, showing to the audience; Andrea said that Caroline's baby was getting a lot of presents and laughed a little evilly. I caught Sharon more than once singing along with Andrea which is just so cool, and one time she even waved with the cutest little smile *aw*. After the encore, they left the stage and it looked already like they had really gone because the roadies started to move things off stage, but the audience kept whistling and clapping for 5 minutes straight and then THEY CAME BACK! Andrea was totally nonplussed saying that they had almost been back in their rooms but "you wouldn't stop *surprised face*" :D - and adding that they remembered this was Germany and they hadn't been here in a long time, they played HTTW as encore.
