Trivia
Their second album remixed for the American market features some interesting new versions of classics such as "What Can I Do" (remixed by Tin Tin Out), "So Young" (remix done by K-Klass) and "Runaway" (again remixed by Tin Tin Out). "Dreams" was not only remixed by Todd Terry, but also by Tee; some dance mixes were also done but only made it on the single.
All the remixed songs were also published as singles and turned out to be respectable hits for the Corrs in the UK.
The cover has changed, and the lyrics for "Dreams", which hadn't been printed in the original "Talk On Corners" booklet as it was only included in the second release, can be found.
Among the many producers of this album is Glen Ballard, who had helped a young debutant from Canada to hit stardom earlier in 1997: Alanis Morissette with her worldwide success album "Jagged little pill".
"Talk On Corners" was even more successful than their debut "Forgiven Not Forgotten" and sold (together with this special edition) over 9 million copies worldwide. It went 20 (!) times platinum in their home country Ireland and again multiple platinum in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, the UK, the Philippines, Sweden, Denmark, France and Indonesia. Single platinum was reached in Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Thailand and Hong Kong. The sales in 8 other countries, among them Italy, Japan and South Africa, were enough to earn the album gold status.
