Other Songs - L
This is a -by no means complete- overview over the extra (=non-album) songs the Corrs have performed and recorded throughout their career. If you know of another that should be included here, let me know!
Lelilungelo Elakho
A collaboration with the South African group Ladysmith Black Mambazo for Nelson Mandela's charity concert "46664". "Lelilungelo Elakho" roughly translates to "This Is Your Opportunity".
Ladysmith Black Mambazo also supported the Corrs on the title track of their album "Borrowed Heaven".
The second CD of three documenting the "46664" event from 2003 also features "Breathless" and "Toss The Feathers" by the Corrs as well as Andrea's performance of "Is This The World We Created...?".
Find out more at Ladysmith Black Mambazo's official website.
- album "46664 Part 2: Long Walk to Freedom", 2004
Lifting Me
Promotional single for Pepsi. The CD contains the K-Klass remix of "Lifting Me" and short interviews of the single band members together with some pictures and a screensaver.
As it was never sold in stores and could only be aquired by sending in Pepsi cans, "Lifting Me" is an extremely rare collector's item.
There is also a short commercial showing a young man trying to get to the front of a Corrs concert by handing out Pepsi cans.
- single "Lifting Me" (1999)
- album "Best Of" (Australia, Japan and South America), 2001
Long And Winding Road, The
A Beatles cover especially recorded for Red Nose Day 2001's night of Comic Relief. Also preformed live at the "Party At The Palace" in 2002.
- single "Would You Be Happier?", 2001
- DVD "Party At The Palace", 2002
Looking Through Your Eyes
The animated movie "Quest For Camelot" from 1998 features Andrea Corr as the singing voice of the female main character, Kayley.
The entire soundtrack was produced by David Foster and Carole Bayer Sager, who had been working with the Corrs before on their second album "Talk On Corners".
"Looking Through Your Eyes" is the first of two songs the Corrs contributed to the soundtrack, this being a duet with Bryan White. The other song is "On My Father's Wings".
- album "Quest For Camelot" soundtrack, 1998
Love Is Blindness
Here Sharon lends her unique violin sound to the Devlins' B-side "Love Is Blindness" from the 2005 single "Don't Let It Break Your Heart".
This song is originally by Irish band U2.
