Other Songs - M

This is a -by no means complete- overview over the extra (=non-album) songs the Corrs have performed and recorded throughout their career. If you know of another that should be included here, let me know!

Me Iré

El Alma Al Aire: Edicion Especial cover

This is the Spanish version of "The Hardest Day". Here, the Corrs sing together with Alejandro Sanz, who is a Spanish superstar and widely known in South America and Spain.

The Corrs have also recorded two other songs with Alejandro Sanz: "The Hardest Day" und "Una Noche".

Andrea has to sing some Spanish lines and was instructed only a few hours before the recording by a record company employee. She however still understood very little of what she sang; yet Andrea believes it's easier for musicians to connect to other languages because they grasp the sound of words faster.

Miracle

A truly inspired ballad supposedly written for the then yet unborn first child of Caroline.

My Heart Will Go On

A live version featuring Andrea Corr on the tin whistle for Céline Dion's super hit from the "Titanic" soundtrack. It is not quite clear whether it was playback or not since it sounds suspiciously exactly like the studio recording.

The Corrs had been opening act for Céline Dion's world tour in 1996. The opportunity to see these two artists on stage together arose when both the Corrs and Dion were participants of Luciano Pavarotti's "Pavarotti & Friends For The Children Of Liberia" concert in 1998. See also 'O Surdato 'nnammurato. (live only, 1998)

Mystery Of You

This is one of the very very first songs the Corrs ever performed live and has not been released on any of their records.

"Mystery Of You" is pre-"Forgiven Not Forgotten" and thus hasn't been included in any of the world tours.

The Corrs are known to have performed this song on Irish TV channel RTÉ around 1995 with Caroline on the piano as she hadn't decided to play the drums yet. There are video clips of the performance found on the internet, and a full recording exists in the RTÉ archives. Sadly copyright issues prevent the performance from being released completely. (live only, 1995)
