Video
Director: Dani Jacobs
This video was shot in Chicago as the Corrs were on tour in the US at that time (21 October 1998). Lots of shooting took place in and around the Flamingo Building. The structure that gives the building its name is 53 feet high and was designed by Alexander Calder in 1974. The Corrs are standing on the top of the Flamingo Building throwing paper planes into the windy air (Chicago isn't called the "windy city" for nothing).
The main impression from this video is the color gray- the band didn't bring any clothes with them but took over a whole floor at Barney's (a well-known clothing store with shops all over the U.S.), and tried everything on under the eyes of the not too thrilled staff. Sharon finally got to wear a men's jumper that was too big for Jim.
Director Jacobs has hinted at a funny story which involves a topless women in an office in a nearby building, but sadly, he refuses to give the details...
Trivia
K-Klass consists of the producers Andy Williams, Carl Thomas, Paul Roberts and Russ Morgan and started their career in the early 90s with club tracks like "Rhythm Is a Mystery", "Don't Stop," "Let Me Show You" and "What You're Missing". They later concentrated more on producing (e.g. Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston or the Pet Shop Boys) and remixing songs of Blondie, Frankie Knuckles, M People, Lulu, Bizarre Inc. and Bobby Brown.
The original version of "So Young" is featured on the soundtrack for the movie "Where the heart is" with Susan Sarandon and Natalie Portman.
The singles from "Talk On Corners Special Edition" did all very well. The remixed "So Young" was no exception, climbing to #6 and staying in the UK single charts for 13 weeks.
